About

This story starts with two best friends from North Minneapolis. Victor Guzman and Khloe Larsdatter, we have known each other since kindergarten and have gone to school together all the way through college. Every story we have the other person was in it. We can count on the other person being there when needed. When the time was right to bet on ourselves it only made sense that we teamed up. Culture Adventure Wear was established in 2020. It took 3-4 months to come up with the name (Culture Adventure Wear) and 18 months to come up with the logo you see today. We did at least a few hundred drafts and allowed ourselves to just have fun creating. Our first logo was inspired by working with distinct fonts around the world. That idea led to the creation of using animals as the letters. We wanted to find animals that represented diverse cultures around the world. These animals could then be organically shaped to create each letter. It starts with Jaguar C, Fish U, Scorpion L, Elephant T, Gecko U, Eagle R and ends with the Serpent E. The designs of these animals are inspired by Victor’s Panamanian and Mexican heritage. We specialize in designing and constructing garments using premium fabrics and textiles such as Gore-Tex, Polartec, Cordura, Sherpa Fleece, etc. that are customizable, fashionable, functional and innovative. Culture Adventure Wear is designed for people who want to go on adventures, whether it’s hiking, running, climbing, mountain biking or just walking through the city. We create fun/edgy apparel that anyone can wear while being assured that the garments will not only get the job done but look good while doing so.
